Sad times...(soppy post ahead!) & a clone on Open University

Warning: this is going to be a pretty soppy & personal post!

So, last night I said goodbye to most of my wonderful friends for the last time until Christmas at our Sixth Form graduation. I know Christmas doesn't sound that long away but when you've seen these people nearly everyday for at least 7 years, it sounds ages away. Especially in comparision to Sixth Form. I know everyone raves about how brilliant theirs was but so will I. Seriously, in the last two years I have become even closer to friends I already knew, made wonderful new friends that it feels like I've known forever and together we've had the most incredible time.. I can't even put it into words. I just wish my education hadn't got in the way!
Certain events this year, that I can't go into here, mean that we've really had to pull together and I can't think of a better group of people to have to do that with...if any of you wonderful sixth formers ever read this, thank you for making sixth form the amazing time that it was.
But its not just the students, the teachers have made such an impact on my life. In fact, there are a couple that I would honestly call friends.
I'm going to change the subject now before I get too emotional! I apoligise! I am a woman, it's allowed!

So while my lovely friends are all off to various universities around the UK, I am doing an Open University course. In fact, I'm doing a degree in Modern Language Studies (basically English & French). I decided that yesterday was the day to sign up for my first module. So I gave them all my details for me to get to the end and recieve the following message:
"Unfortunately, we are unable to proceed any further with your request at this time, as some of the details that you have provided match another record held on our database. Our staff...need  to check your details to prevent duplucation."
How bizarre! Apparently it will be checked within 2 working but they might have to contact me to "request further details"! You couldn't make it up could you!

Anyway, on that note, I'm going to go and drown my sorrows (in tea) whilst making chocolate cake with some old songs on loudly! And whilst I wait for my 40 free photos... but thats another post!

Grosses Bises,
Hannah
